Bonded appliqué

Here I used a unusual material that I had never herd of before called bondaweb, this was a paper which had a rough side and a smooth side. The rough side had to be face down into a piece  of fabric and then ironed on which allowed the glue to be released and it to stick to the fabric. I then cut my design out and pealed the bondaweb off the fabric, though it left a layer on the fabric so then next I ironed that peice of fabric onto some calico which made it stick. I worked into the study to make it look and feel like my drawing that I was working from.
