UKFT is a unique British fashion network. Membership of UKFT allows companies and associations access to an unrivalled community of contacts throughout the fashion and textile system. Each specialist area of our industry is represented by a sectoral group, which contributes setting policy and strategy for UKFT. UKFT is keen to keep members informed about issues facing the industry and to help them develop their businesses. Communication is the key to this, and we produce a monthly e-newsletter, e-shots on breaking news and business opportunities, and we offer a series of seminars on industry-specific subjects and overseas markets.
What can we do for you?
If you are a member of UKFT - we can help you with all types of business advice; from one to one help to get you into exports or to move into new markets, to advice and guidance on working with agents (and active agent contacts) and practical help in approaching the right retailers.
If you are a buyer, agent or distributor - we can put you in touch with UK companies offering great products. UKFT members range from directional designers to major manufacturers, so whether you are looking for fashion accessories, for menswear, womenswear or childrenswear we’ll have the contacts. This service is completely free of charge."

This career membership would also be considerable when I finish my degree, because if u went into setting up my own business, if I was to agree to a membership with the UKFT there are so many advantages. These advantages being to expand on my know adage and network, build on my international exposure making my business and work known to the world wide. I would get assess to industry business advice to help me set up, it would also save my business money and raise my profile within the industry. This company would allow me to take which ever direction I would want and also let's me to do trade shows and also does apprenticeships to know you how to start up.
