Claire Coles creates a unique floral surfaces design as you can see in this image, I learnt that she creates this technique using machine embroidary and then works back into the studies with hand stitching to finish it off. The colours used stand out from the minimal surface and the way in which the media has been applied in layers gives a 3d feels and this is what caught my attention.
